Get Help is a songwriting project based in New York, comprised primarily of Tony from Boston’s beloved The Beatings, and Mike from NYC’s beloved Strikes Again! We collaborate over the internet, using the latest typewriters, rotary phones, and semaphore technology. Our best work is done while unconscious from fumes.
Get Help will be releasing an album on Midriff Records on October 14, 2008, entitled THE END OF THE NEW COUNTRY. Sample tracks are streaming on our Myspace page. This is the cover, so you know what to look for in the bargain bin:

This site here is a repository for our rough drafts, revisions, and experiments. We play live sporadically, utilizing a talented cadre of players from the Midriff Records family. When we have live dates scheduled, we will be sure to post them on our blog as far in advance as possible, and bribe as many people as we can to attend them.
Postings to this site are also available through our podcast, where all of our experiments will be delivered unto you, free of charge, right in the comfort of your home. But we hope you will still visit and post comments attesting to our piety and sense of fashion.
