“It’s a pretty straightforward song about regret and change. You burn a lot of bridges when you’re young because you think you’re king shit. You get older and self reflective and you want to repair a lot of the damage you’ve done. I suppose it’s a call to be aware of your surroundings throughout life, really. It’s hard but then you wouldn’t have to make amends later. Maybe it’s a cautionary tale, maybe I’m just being hard on myself. Who’s to say?
